Type Around the Studio
The other day, we pulled out a bunch of foundry type for a lead type project (post on that to come later). We were looking for some Futura, but I don't think we ended up finding the right size. In anycase, lots of other type goodness came out of storage. The labels on the fonts themselves are just lovely.
The fonts are awesome, but there's also a ton of other cool type hanging around the studio so I took a little break and went on a little scavenger hung. Check out this "Finishing Rubber" line
Russian (I think) packaging, the blue is great.
You don't really get a lot of products nowadays where 'useful' is a selling point. Or that are 'specially designed for rural residents' either.
P.S. How awesome is that as a band name: The Useful Farmer Assortment
From the lunch ordering days, my favorite post-it order.
